Job overview
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Forklift Driver to join our operations team. The successful candidate will help move materials and finished products safely within our bottling plant and warehouses.
What you are expected to deliver
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bottling and warehouses. Your responsibilities will include:
Operate a forklift to move raw materials, bottles, packaging materials and finished products within the bottling plant and warehouses.
Load and unload goods from delivery vans and containers safely and efficiently.
Transport materials between production, storage and distribution areas.
Assist in organising and storing products in the warehouse according to company standards.
Ensure pallets and materials are handled carefully to avoid damage to bottles and packaged goods.
Carry out daily safety checks on the forklift before starting work.
Report any mechanical issues, damaged products or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Follow all health, safety and hygiene rules in the bottling and warehouse areas.
Assist with stock movement and basic inventory recording when required.
Support other warehouse or production tasks when necessary.
What you will need to succeed
Experience: At least 2–3 years’ experience operating a forklift in a factory, warehouse, or distribution environment
Certification: A valid forklift driver’s licence or certification is mandatory
Certificate: A valid certificate of morality is required
