Job overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to ensure that all company operations comply with food safety management systems, regulatory standards, and internal procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, and applicable local food safety and health regulations in a bottling and distribution environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Compliance Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring we’re always compliant with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, and local regulatory standards. Your mission: maintain robust systems, prevent non-conformances, and promote a strong culture of compliance throughout our operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems that align with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP standards.
  • Conduct GMP, hygiene, and safety audits in bottling, warehouse and surround areas.
  • Lead internal audits, track non-conformances, and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Maintain all compliance documentation – SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and logs.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions on food safety and hygiene.
  • Stay up to date with local laws and act as the point of contact for regulatory, external and certification audits.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to business continuity and crisis response plans.

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Certificate/Diploma in Quality Management, or related field.
  • Trained in HACCP, FSSC 22000, or ISO 22000:2018 (certification is a plus).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or compliance role, preferably in food or beverage.
  • Detail-focused, consistent, and confident in addressing non-comformances.
  • Clear communicator – able to train others and work cross-functionally.
  • Proficient with MS Office and familiar with digital documentation systems

Other Requirements:

  • Hands-on role with regular inspections and involvement in audits.
