What you are expected to deliver
As a Warehouse Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and organize inventory to keep things running smoothly
Check incoming deliveries and flag any damaged or incorrect items
Keep the warehouse tidy and ensure stock is well-organized
Update orders in the system to stay on top of things
Track inventory levels and ensure all parts and equipment are available
Create and maintain accurate records to stay on top of reporting and share key updates on warehouse activities
Identify and handle outdated or unusable stock following company policies
Report any maintenance issues to keep the storeroom in top shape
What you will need to succeed
Education & Experience: A High School Certificate or equivalent, with 2+ years in managing stock, materials, supplies, or equipment.
Bonus Skills: Forklift certification is a big plus!
Know-How: Solid understanding of inventory systems, accounting basics, and efficient storekeeping methods.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to collaborate with teammates, follow instructions, and get things done.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using purchasing/inventory software, Microsoft Office, and other computer tools.
Hands-On: Physically capable of lifting, moving items, and tackling minor repairs when needed.
Organized: Excellent at planning, multitasking, and working seamlessly with different departments.
